Christmas morning

Christmas was a quiet affair, unlike what we are used to.  As I mentioned before, the whole month has been odd not being amidst the holiday hubbub in the U.S.  It's been nice to not be inundated with the sheer commercialism, but still - not the same.  Not being around family was particularly sad.  :( 

Favorite gifts this year were:  family - keyboard for piano practicing, Reid - a nook and a new Lego set, Riley - a magic set, Rowan - a puppet set, complete with a screen to set up in a door frame.

Waiting patiently for Rowan to wake up - time was past 7:30am at this point.

Finally, I told them to wake him up.  I went upstairs and Riley was singing Christmas carols into Rowan's closed door.
